Digital print, google translation / 2019
This drawing used a part of Donald J. Trump’s speech script and it was put in the google translation. The artist randomly translated different paragraphs in different outcome languages several times, and every time she translated it, she deleted the first and last sentence from the result until there is only one sentence left. She then translated the last sentence back to English. She layered up and printed out the translation process as well as the last sentence that was translated back to English on paper. The process is paired with the result in the final work.
